About the Role:
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join a busy production team in Richardson, TX. This position is ideal for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality parts. The role offers exposure to CNC milling operations, troubleshooting, machine setup activities, and opportunities for long-term growth.
What You'll Do:
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Install tooling, fixtures, and materials required for each job
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality standards
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to minimize downtime
• Document setup information, tooling changes, and inspection results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production goals
What You Bring:
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Understanding of machine offsets, tooling, and machining processes
• Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Haas controls preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments is beneficial
