Manufacturing Production Planner

Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Planner to work in our Richardson, TX site.

As a Manufacturing Production Planner with Jabil, you will serve as the customer demand interface for the production plan and shipment information, develop a feasible operational plan and maintain ownership over the execution of that plan, achieve customer satisfaction, minimize Jabil liability, and continuously improve the performance of the planning metrics.

• Create and maintain a feasible production plan and closely work with the operations team to execute it successfully.
• Develop revenue forecasts, monitor actual performance, and drive immediate corrective actions and recovery plans when revenue targets are at risk.
• Monitor planning metrics and pursue continuous improvement.
• Comply with all procedures within the company security policy and the rules of the road.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Production Planning role, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

• Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP, especially SAP (strong preference).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Kinaxis or a similar system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
