Shape the future of test equipment—three days at a time Imagine starting your shift at 5:00 AM in a bright, organized cleanroom, assembling precision test fixtures that power cutting-edge technology. By Sunday evening, you’ve completed 36 hours of meaningful work—and you’re paid for 40. That’s the rhythm of our Friday–Sunday schedule.

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading electromechanical manufacturer in Richardson to expand a high-performing team of cleanroom and mechanical assemblers. If you enjoy solving problems with your hands and your mind, this is your chance to grow in a fast-paced production environment—while enjoying a three-day weekend every week.

Compensation & Schedules Pay: $19/hr (mechanical) and $20/hr (cleanroom)
Core weekend schedule:
Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM (work 36 hours, paid for 40)
Additional shifts (Monday–Thursday):5:00 AM – 3:30 PM: $20.00 per hour4:00 PM – 2:30 AM: $22.00 per hourA Day in the Life You’ll collaborate with a close-knit crew to build, wire, and verify complex assemblies used for testing. Every build is a small engineering puzzle—follow the drawings, make precise connections, and confirm quality. Team support is constant, training is structured, and your attention to detail is valued.

What You’ll Build Assemble electro-mechanical test fixtures and multiple styles of test equipment

Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and customer specifications

Perform electrical wiring for test fixtures, rack-mount cabinets, and control panels

Component Prep & Hand Skills Cut, strip, twist, tin, and solder wires

Secure wires, cables, resistors, capacitors, and other components to PCBs, connectors, and subassemblies

Clean parts and hand-place components during production processes

Quality Mindset Apply rigorous inspection practices throughout production to ensure consistent, correct performance of every assembly

Qualifications6+ months of electrical assembly experience (minimum)
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; verification (copy) must be provided

Comfort working on your feet, handling materials, and performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
