Productivity Inc seeks a CNC Machinist to support cutting tool applications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment, produce precision tooling, and troubleshoot machining issues. Partner with engineers and customers to optimize cutting parameters, improve part quality, and reduce cycle times. Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances, perform routine maintenance, and document setups.

This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist who enjoys problem solving, customer interaction, and working with advanced machine tools and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision cutting tools and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, tooling drawings, and CNC programs to meet specifications and tolerances
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and adjust offsets to maintain quality standards
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and program errors to reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with engineers and tooling specialists on process improvements and new tooling solutions
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area organized and safe
  • Support customers and internal teams with technical cutting tool and machining questions
  • Document setups, processes, and improvement recommendations in a clear, repeatable format

Required Skills
