You deserve a job you love! Volt is immediately hiring for Process Engineering Technicians in Richardson, Texas.
Process Engineering Technician, you will:- Support engineering builds, DOE trials, and prototype assembly lots in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Program and operate assembly equipment, including mold, grind, saw, laser, and coating tools
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and drive timely resolution
- Perform preventative maintenance, changeovers, and basic equipment maintenance to ensure tools remain production-ready
- Collect process data and support root cause analysis and yield improvement activities
- Document issues, process updates, and changes through logs, work instructions, and shift pass-downs
- Provide technical support and training to operators and production personnel
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times

Location:
Richardson, Texas.
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar high-tech environment
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills and the ability to work directly on equipment to resolve issues in real time
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Semiconductor assembly processes such as die attach, wire bond, molding, singulation, wafer thinning/saw, die pick, and related processes
- Prototype, NPI (New Product Introduction), or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environments
- Basic understanding of SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, and yield improvement methodologies
- Cleanroom environment requiring ESD protection and PPE
- Shift work and extended hours may be required to support prototype and customer demand
- Hands-on work with manufacturing equipment in a semiconductor assembly setting

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
