Our ImpactThe Marcus US Marketing team drives growth and customer lifecycle management for millions of Marcus customers across high‑yield savings and CD products. The team is data‑driven, focused on performance, measurable impact, customer insights and experience, and digital.
Your ImpactWe are looking for an Associate, Content Strategy to execute the content roadmap across organic social, SEO, and web channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with content writers to produce high‑quality, relevant content for the Marcus site, resource hub, newsletter, and organic social.
- Collaborate with team and agency to identify keyword opportunities, optimize on‑page content, and ensure editorial output aligns with search best practices.
- Manage the organic social media calendar, working with creative teams to develop engaging assets that resonate with a retail banking audience.
- Act as a bridge between Marketing, Product, and Legal/Compliance to ensure all content is accurate, brand‑compliant, and technically sound.
- Partner with Analytics to monitor content performance (traffic, engagement, conversion) and iterate tactics.
- Ensure Marcus tone of voice—simplicity and transparency—is consistently applied across all organic touchpoints.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: 3–5 years content marketing and/or digital strategy.
- Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and social media algorithms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to simplify complex financial topics.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, maintain editorial calendars, and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration: Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders and managing agency relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Financial Services or Fintech preferred; passion for consumer advocacy and financial literacy a plus.
