Senior Digital Communications Consultant

BASIC FUNCTION

This position is responsible for implementing and delivering a digital communications strategy for one or more customer‑facing portals (member, provider, employer, broker, or employee) that supports the enterprise business plan. The role includes implementing the strategy, managing the day‑to‑day operations of the digital communications development and operation team, and ensuring the realization of anticipated benefits. It is an editorial role focusing on content coordination, editing, and project management to publish clear and concise messaging in the right digital communications channel to meet business goals and stakeholder needs.

NOTE:

In‑office visibility is required three days per week, with the remaining two days remote. Relocation is NOT available; sponsorship (either now or in the future) will NOT be extended.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three (3) years’ experience developing web analytics/e‑business reports OR diverse business and technology experience understanding the business and industry the technology is supporting OR usability concepts and various qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies OR electronic marketing technology, customer relationship management (CRM), and integrated marketing strategies OR experience in a web production environment
• Understanding of current and emerging digital communications channels and related technologies (Web 2.0, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools)
• Experience compiling relevant data for reporting on digital campaign results and enabling insights for future tactic enhancements
• Knowledge of segmentation and testing strategies
• Leadership and innovation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and with limited direction
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, including editing and storytelling
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, plus solid project planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience building working relationships across all levels of the organization
• Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Teams, One Drive)

• Knowledge of search engine optimization, tagging, and source codes
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Experience in health insurance, health care, or another highly regulated industry
• Some knowledge of marketing delivery platforms and content management systems is a plus

Compensation: $55,900.00 - $ (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
