Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant North of Dallas, TX

Position Overview

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least two years of direct Emergency Medicine experience to join our dedicated nocturnist team. The position is an autonomous role covering 20 hours of APP shift work, which includes 10-hour night coverage and occasional weekend or holiday shifts. Residents will work in the fast‑track and collaborate with the on‑staff physicians in the emergency department.

• Provide patient‑centered emergency care during nocturnal shifts.
• Work alongside on‑staff physicians on the fast track and in the emergency department.
• Document patient interactions and care in EPIC EMR.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives as required.

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with state credentials.
• Minimum of two years direct Emergency Medicine clinical experience.
• Strong communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively during night coverage.
