Pediatric Float Nurse – Be the Bridge from Hospital to Home!

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex (travel required across the metro area)
Open Roles:

• 1 Full-Time Day Float Nurse
• 1 Full-Time Night Float Nurse

• 3, 12-hour shifts per week (full-time)
• Must be flexible and available 7 days/week
• No overtime permitted

As a float nurse, you’ll support hospital discharges and provide coverage in homes across the metroplex—bringing care where it’s needed most.

This isn’t just another nursing job. You’ll be the bridge between hospital and home
, helping kids come home safely and supporting families through that transition. You’ll:

• Assist with bringing children home from the hospital
• Float to homes needing skilled nursing support
• Work with a variety of patients, technologies, and care needs
• Build meaningful relationships with families while delivering high-impact, one-on-one care

Pediatric Home Service has been dedicated to providing exceptional, one-on-one care to medically complex children. From infants to young adults, we support patients with needs such as trachs, ventilators, and g‑tubes—helping them live full lives at home, in school, and in their communities.

We offer competitive, transparent pay that reflects the meaningful work you do.

• Pay: Varies by shift, acuity, and assignment (including admissions and weekends), with opportunities to earn up to $34 per hour for LVNs and up to $47/hour for RNs
• Additional differentials available based on shift type and patient needs .

• Current Texas Nursing License, RN or LVN license that is in good standing
• Minimum of 3 year of pediatric nursing and home health experience required.
• CPR certification required; PALS certification preferred.
