Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

Role Overview

This position is for a registered nurse providing high-level, technical patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. You will deliver direct and indirect care using the nursing process, supervise team members, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure age-appropriate, quality care.

• Communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships with patients, families, and staff
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and safe medication administration
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold hospital standards
• Take responsibility for personal and professional growth
• Utilize nursing standards and policies to deliver compliant care
• Support patient education and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Current nursing license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required
• Minimum of 1 year relevant RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Physically active role with standing, moving, bending, and handling materials
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and various environmental hazards
• Indoor work environment with visual and physical demands aligned with patient care
