Role Overview
A registered nurse provides high-quality, technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care ensuring safety and therapeutic environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
- Support hospital standards fostering teamwork and a cooperative work environment.
- Take responsibility for professional growth and performance.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility.
- Minimum six months RN experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to create a safe, patient-centered environment.
- Initiative and commitment to professional development.
