Role

Registered Nurse providing professional and technical nursing care to patients.

• Performs direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supports the hospital's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.
• Creates a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Administers medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth and performance.
• Collaborates effectively with team members, patients, and families through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver quality care throughout the patient episode.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 12 months RN experience.
