ScheduleFull Time:
Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
- Cooking experience required. Wok cooking experience preferred.
Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
Job SummaryPrepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, maintaining proper temperatures, and ensuring appealing presentation.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
- Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
- Performs duties safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment; adheres to HACCP standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Complies with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and appropriate use of PPE where applicable.
- Use of gloves when handling knives and slicers; use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans; wear slip-resistant shoes and follow proper lifting techniques.
