Verification Specialist

Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Classification: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Reports To: Chief Sales Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Verification Specialist who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience. You will support client enrollments, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold compliance standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all steps of enrolling clients into the Debt Blue Program.
  • Send documentation to clients and assist them through the signing process.
  • Address any client questions and resolve document‑related issues.
  • Follow Compliance Guideline Policy to ensure accounts meet enrollment requirements.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Meet departmental standards and contribute to operational objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support department operations.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, collections, or negotiation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High initiative and ability to meet/exceed monthly goals.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and guidelines.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and customer service software/databases.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Physical & Mental Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to concentrate, handle deadlines, use sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment
  • Office setting with low-to-moderate noise levels.
  • Professional casual dress code
