Summary/Objective

This position maintains produce sales floor, back of house product and supports the Produce Team Leader in breaking down deliveries. Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient guest service to Guests and Team Members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures a fresh and appealing display by rotating, stocking, checking signage and removing out of date products
Assist Team Leader in breaking down deliveries
Deliver outstanding guest service
Follow through on all guest questions, requests and resolve concerns as needed
Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations, including Weights and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, Department of Labor, ADA, HAACP, OSHA and safe work practices.
Sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
Report equipment issues to Store Leadership
Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated
Uses suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales
Performs other duties as assigned by Store Leadership

Qualifications

2+ years or more experience in a produce department
Guest Service focused
Knowledge of department product, food preparation and equipment used preferred.
