Under direct supervision of the Store Director, the Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the entire operation of the receiving department for the store. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
