Assistant Store Director (Richardson, TX | Full-Time)Position Overview
The Assistant Store Director is the second in command of the store and plays a critical leadership role in driving daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
This is a hands on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast paced retail environment and is passionate about building high performing teams.
What You'll Do- Support the Store Director in overseeing all daily store operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop department managers and frontline team members.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
- Drive sales while monitoring labor, inventory, and operational expenses.
- Maintain the highest standards of merchandising, cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce shrink through operational excellence.
- Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new employees.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Partner with department leaders to achieve sales, productivity, and profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
- Serve as Store Director when needed.
- 5+ years of retail leadership experience.
- 2+ years managing large teams in grocery, specialty retail, hospitality, or food service.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proven ability to drive sales and operational performance.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple departments is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

- Restaurant or hospitality management
