Overview
The WiFi Channel Manager will lead the development and execution of the enterprise go-to-market strategy for Real Page’s managed WiFi channel across regions and customer segments.
This is a net-new business-building role responsible for establishing the strategy, operating model, partner ecosystem, commercial framework, and execution plan required to scale the managed WiFi business. The role will work across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to align the organization around a unified WiFi channel strategy and drive measurable revenue growth.
Unlike a traditional channel-management role focused primarily on maintaining an established partner portfolio, this position will build the channel from the ground up. The individual will define how Real Page brings managed WiFi solutions to market, identify and develop strategic partnerships, establish repeatable sales motions, and create the foundation for a future channel organization.
The role will begin as a senior individual-contributor position and is expected to evolve into a team-leadership role as the business reaches defined growth and scale milestones.
ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Channel Strategy
- Own and lead the enterprise-wide strategy for the managed WiFi channel across multiple regions, markets, and customer segments.
- Establish the long-term vision, strategic priorities, growth objectives, and execution roadmap for the WiFi channel.
- Translate company and business-unit priorities into a coordinated channel strategy that supports revenue growth, customer adoption, and market expansion.
- Identify opportunities to expand the channel through new partners, routes to market, customer segments, and geographic regions.
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor to leadership on the managed WiFi channel, including market opportunities, investment priorities, competitive positioning, and growth risks.
Go-to-Market Leadership
- Define and lead the go-to-market model for managed WiFi solutions, including segmentation, positioning, partner strategy, sales motions, commercial frameworks, and market-entry plans.
- Establish repeatable and scalable processes for channel development, partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline creation, and revenue conversion.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop channel-specific demand-generation, enablement, and customer-acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with Product leadership to ensure market, customer, and partner insights inform the managed WiFi product roadmap and solution strategy.
- Develop business cases, launch plans, and growth initiatives that support expansion of the managed WiFi offering.
Business Building and Operating Model
- Build the operating framework for the managed WiFi channel, including governance, performance management, partner engagement, internal accountabilities, and decision-making processes.
- Establish the metrics, reporting, and operating cadence used to evaluate channel performance, pipeline health, revenue growth, partner productivity, and market penetration.
- Identify organizational, operational, and technology requirements needed to scale the business.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives required to launch and expand the channel, resolving barriers and aligning stakeholders across business units.
- Create documented playbooks, processes, and standards that enable the channel to scale consistently across regions.
Partner and Market Development
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop strategic relationships with technology providers, service providers, resellers, integrators, and other channel partners.
- Create differentiated partner value propositions and engagement models that support mutual growth.
- Develop executive-level relationships with key partners and represent Real Page in strategic partner discussions.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and changes in the managed WiFi ecosystem to guide strategic decisions.
- Assess potential partnerships and market opportunities based on financial potential, strategic alignment, customer value, and execution feasibility.
Commercial and Financial Ownership
- Own the channel revenue plan, pipeline strategy, forecasting process, and performance against defined growth targets.
- Develop financial models and business cases for channel investments, partnerships, market expansion, and growth initiatives.
- Recommend pricing, incentive, partner-compensation, and commercial structures in partnership with Sales, Finance, and Product leadership.
- Track performance against revenue, profitability, adoption, and market-expansion objectives.
- Present channel performance, strategic recommendations, risks, and investment needs to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams responsible for developing, launching, and scaling the managed WiFi channel.
