About the RoleCollins Aerospace is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. This role requires a minimum Collateral Secret clearance and a passion for technology.
The position is onsite in Richardson, TX.
Responsibilities- Work with technologies:
Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage, Backup. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other organization members.
- Build strong relationships with customers and peers.
- Assist in driving escalations to resolution.
- Participate in improvement of internal processes (Lean, ACE, CORE).
- Facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets using technical knowledge.
- Assist with implementation of technical solutions for assigned projects.
- Provide support for Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams.
- Foster relationships with DT peers across the domestic U.S.
- Communicate effectively with Engineering leadership.
- Provide ROI based on project performance.
- Apply knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with loose requirements.
- University degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
- Active Secret Clearance available day one.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience supporting technology in a professional or secure environment.
- Desktop Support, Server Administration, Virtualization (e.g., VMware).
- Linux Systems Administration.
- Networking (important).
- Compliance frameworks (NIST 800‑53).
- Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+). Active certification preferred.
- Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.).
- Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
- Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral or Secret).
