Collins Aerospace is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. This role requires a minimum Collateral Secret clearance and a passion for technology.

The position is onsite in Richardson, TX.

• Work with technologies:
  Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage, Backup.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other organization members.
• Build strong relationships with customers and peers.
• Assist in driving escalations to resolution.
• Participate in improvement of internal processes (Lean, ACE, CORE).
• Facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets using technical knowledge.
• Assist with implementation of technical solutions for assigned projects.
• Provide support for Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams.

• Foster relationships with DT peers across the domestic U.S.
• Communicate effectively with Engineering leadership.
• Provide ROI based on project performance.
• Apply knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with loose requirements.

• University degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Active Secret Clearance available day one.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Experience supporting technology in a professional or secure environment.
• Desktop Support, Server Administration, Virtualization (e.g., VMware).
• Linux Systems Administration.
• Networking (important).
• Compliance frameworks (NIST 800‑53).
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+). Active certification preferred.

• Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.).
• Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
• Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral or Secret).
