PWE Systems Administrator; Onsite

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. This position is onsite in Richardson, TX and requires a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.

• Work with technologies including Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage, and Backup.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and build strong relationships with customers and peers.
• Assist with escalations to resolution and participate in process improvement initiatives (LEAN/ACE/CORE).
• Facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets.
• Implement technical solutions supporting assigned projects and provide support for Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams.

• Foster relationships with DT peers across the domestic U.S.
• Communicate effectively with Engineering leadership.
• Provide ROI based on project performance.
• Apply knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with loose requirements.

• University degree (or advanced degree) with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance (dayone).
• Experience supporting technology in a professional/secure environment:
  Desktop Support, Server Administration, Virtualization (VMware, etc.), Linux System Administration, and Networking.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST
  800‑53).
• Ability to obtain IAT Level
  
  II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+); active certification preferred.

• System administration, cloud, or related certifications.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, etc.
• Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral/Secret).
