Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate;
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, noting and reporting security-related concerns;
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and communicating with staff regarding visitor access procedures;
Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contact
