We’re looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to support underground electrical infrastructure projects by handling Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and more.

• $25 - $30/hour (based on experience)

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Petri Electric, you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and other excavation equipment for trenching and material handling
• Performing precise and efficient excavation for underground electrical systems
• Following blueprints, project plans, and safety protocols
• Conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance
• Working with site supervisors, electricians, and crew members to complete projects on time
• Maintaining a professional, safety-first mindset

This position will be based in Richardson, TX, and work throughout the metroplex.

• 2+ years of experienceoperating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, or similar equipment
• Strong understanding oftrenching techniques, underground utilities, and soil conditions
• Ability toread and follow electrical site plans and construction blueprints
• Valid CDL (preferred, but not required)
• Equipment certifications requiredfor machinery you operate
• A commitment tosafety, precision, and efficiency
• Willingness towork outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability topass a background check and drug test
