Software Engineer​/Full-Stack Java Developer

Onsite in the Dallas Metro Area

Active TS/SCI Clearance or ability to obtain it is required

Position Overview:

Our team is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer/Full-Stack Java Developer.

In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions. You'll have the opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object-Oriented architecture.

The candidate must also demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.

Clearance / Citizenship Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance within 1 year of starting
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years software development experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience developing complex applications with Java
• Proven problem solving and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Dev Sec Ops  toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, and Cucumber

Desired Skills:

• Security+ Certification
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
• Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies
• Experience with building automated tests
