We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Playwright automation framework or Selenium (Java), along with Git Hub, CI/CD integration, UI Path, API testing, and solid functional testing skills. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and integrating automated end-to-end (E2E) tests within continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/Type Script, Python, or Java.
  • Implement and execute automated test scripts for both web and API testing.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain custom automation frameworks using design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM).
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure web application compatibility and functionality across modern browsers, including Chromium, Firefox, and Web Kit.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
  • Perform functional testing to validate business requirements and ensure application stability.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with developers to drive timely resolution.
  • Utilize tools such as UI Path where applicable to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in automation testing.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Playwright framework for web and API automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script (preferred), with additional experience in Python or Java.
  • Experience with Selenium (Java) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Git and Git Hub for source control and collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and frameworks, including Agile/Scrum, BDD, and TDD.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience configuring automated workflows, particularly using Git Hub.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills, including use of Playwright tools such as Trace Viewer, screenshots, and video recordings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and flaky tests in real time.
  • Strong functional testing skills and attention to detail.
