AI Architect

Infosys is looking for an AI Full Stack Hands‑on Architect who must be a polyglot with expertise in multiple technologies and can work as a full‑stack developer & architect in complex engineering projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or 3 years of progressive experience in place of one year of education.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate.
• Minimum 7 years of core development & architecture experience.
• Strong analysis and design skills with deep expertise in core development, design & architecture, implement design patterns and architecture patterns.
• 2‑3 years of experience in developing and applying generative AI models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for applications such as text generation, image creation, and code synthesis.
• Fine‑tune pre‑trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Manage the entire AI development lifecycle: data pre‑processing, model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and actively contribute to continuous improvement of AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI development practices, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness, and explainability.
• Experience in open‑source frameworks and tools.
• Ability to write high‑quality and highly performant code.
• Evaluate and review performance aspects of new and existing code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality maintenance.
• Perform POCs for new technologies.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced and agile environment.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in cloud‑based platforms such as Open Shift, AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Experience fine‑tuning open‑source AI models.
• Strong understanding of one or more domain expertise and associated industry standards.
• Industry‑acclaimed external certifications, if applicable.
• Active participation in technology forums.
• Contribution to open‑source community.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
