Java Full Stack Developer Boot​/REST APIs

We are seeking a versatile Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex applications that support Personal Lines business capabilities. This role involves building critical REST APIs, delivering high-quality code, and supporting production systems. The engineer will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from UI design to back-end integration and Dev Ops deployment, while helping expand capabilities to new states.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs using Spring Boot to support critical Personal Lines business functions
• Design and develop end-to-end full-stack applications across multiple platforms
• Build and integrate applications using modular and microservices-based architectures
• Develop and consume APIs and work with relational and non-relational databases
• Deliver high-quality code while building new capabilities and supporting system expansion
• Participate in production support rotations
• Apply clean code practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
• Analyze customer needs and create technical proposals and integration plans
• Research emerging technologies and build prototypes to guide future direction
• Implement UX best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
• Take end-to-end ownership of products within an Agile and Dev Ops environment
• Ensure solutions meet security standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot for REST API development
• Experience with Playwright framework for automated acceptance testing
• Proven experience in full-stack development across front-end and back-end technologies
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development
• Strong understanding of Agile and Dev Ops practices
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced computer science principles and clean code practices
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Auto domain knowledge preferred.
