F-22 Software Developer Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) – Company:

The Boeing F‑22 Enterprise, part of the Air Dominance organization, seeks Software Developer Engineers to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business organization. These engineers will work on modernizing and maintaining the Operational Flight Program (OFP) for the F‑22 Raptor and its associated test software. Positions are located in Richardson, TX.
Responsibilities- Support the design, development, test, and maintenance of embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle, meeting industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and translating customer requirements into initial software design.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for system integration.
- Document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
- Debug and resolve issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
- Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback.
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Assist with software project management activities and software supplier management functions.
- Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
- At least 2 years of programming experience in Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience working in projects that use various software development methodologies.
- Associate (Level2): 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Experienced (Level3): 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Senior (Level4): 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
- ABET accreditation preferred.
- Effective team communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Embedded real‑time software development experience.
- Modeling and simulation experience.
- Experience with Real‑time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Agile software development experience.
Security Clearance Requirement: Eligible candidates must hold an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and be U.S. citizens or nationals.
Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities.
Summary Pay Range for Associate: $106,250 – $143,750.
Summary Pay Range for Experienced: $135,150 – $182,850.
Summary Pay Range for Senior: $171,700 – $232,300.
