Senior Software Engineer; Onsite

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will develop software primarily in Java and work across the full software development life cycle. The role is based in Richardson, TX and requires an active, transferable TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

• Participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of embedded software, including application, middleware, operating system, and supporting tools.
• Develop new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain configuration management of software products.
• Operate in a collaborative, SAFe agile environment.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Agile, Java software development methodologies, Atlassian tools, and Object‑Oriented design.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship.

• STEM degree, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Experience with Software Architecture and Cyber Security.
• Experience with Containerization, Orchestration, and Infrastructure/Platform as a Service.
• Experience with Microservices, Model Based Systems Engineering, and Web Development.
• Experience with Cucumber, GIT, Docker, and Kubernetes.
