Position OverviewSeeking an enterprise-grade Senior Pega Consultant / Pega Tech Lead with 6+ years of relevant IT experience (5+ years of hands-on Pega Platform development) to design, build, and deploy high-availability enterprise Pega applications. This hybrid role based in Richardson, TX requires mandatory Certified System Architect (CSSA) certification. The engineer will design scalable Pega solutions, configure workflow automation (Case Types, Flows, Decision Rules, Data Pages, Data Transforms), build REST/SOAP web service integrations, optimize application performance using Pega diagnostic tools (Tracer, Clipboard, PAL, PDC), and support Healthcare domain implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Pega Solution Architecture & Development:
Analyze complex business requirements to design and configure scalable Pega Case Types, Flows, Flow Actions, Decision Rules, Data Pages, Data Transforms, and Activities. - Integrations & Web Services:
Build, test, and maintain robust RESTful and SOAP web service integrations connecting Pega applications with external enterprise systems. - System Optimization & Troubleshooting:
Utilize Pega debugging and performance monitoring tools (Tracer, Clipboard, Live UI, PAL, PDC) to conduct root cause analysis, resolve production incidents, and optimize application execution. - Background Processing & Reporting:
Configure and manage Job Schedulers, Queue Processors, custom Reports, and executive Dashboards for automated asynchronous task management. - Quality Governance & Code Reviews:
Perform peer code reviews, enforce Pega development best practices, ensure compliance with guardrail scores, and support release deployment pipelines. - Agile Execution &
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and enterprise architects.
- Certification Mandate:
Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is required. - Experience:
6+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on development on the Pega Platform. - Core Pega Stack:
Deep technical mastery in Case Management, Flows, Decision Rules, Data Pages, Data Transforms, Job Schedulers, and Queue Processors. - Integration Engineering:
Strong experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services within Pega applications. - Diagnostic & Tuning Tools:
Practical experience using Tracer, Clipboard, Live UI, PAL (Performance Analyzer), and PDC (Pega Diagnostic Center). - Agile Delivery:
Proven experience delivering solutions within structured Agile/Scrum sprint frameworks.
