Please no 3rd party subcontracting inquiries. Our banking clientis seeking a Code Scanning Specialty Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Code Scanning Specialty Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Security Engineering Department supporting cloud-native application security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative security solutions, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Code Scanning Specialty Engineer
Location: Irving, TX - hybrid (open to Columbus, OH as well)
Pay Range: 70-80/hr W2 (due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)
U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, and those authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.
We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas at this time.
Duration: 12+ month contract
What's Needed?- Proficiency in Python, Java, and at least one additional language such as Golang, Rust, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud-native development and implementing GenAI-enabled solutions.
- Knowledge of security automation, code scanning, and vulnerability detection techniques.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and development.
- Strong systems thinking skills and experience in software engineering fundamentals.
- Develop and enhance automated vulnerability detection tools for modern applications, APIs, and AI services.
- Build integrations, automation, and governance frameworks to support secure technology modernization at scale.
- Implement security controls that reduce operational complexity and improve developer productivity.
- Support data modernization initiatives by securing applications and services handling critical enterprise data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle and promote best security practices.
