Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid role; only local candidates will be eligible for consideration)
Pay Rate: $ hourly

OverviewOur client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a short-term operational cleanup and ongoing A/R activities during a period of system and process transition. This role will focus on high-volume invoice processing, cash application, collections support, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, system-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, partially manual environment while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
This position will play a key role in getting invoices, collections, and payments back on track.
- Process high-volume accounts receivable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile cash drawers as required
- Perform customer outreach via portals, email, and phone to support collections and resolve invoice issues
- Send customer statements and assist with scheduling payments as needed
- Apply customer payments and assist with cash application activities
- Support EDI processing by identifying errors and coordinating corrections with partners
- Assist with A/R clean-up efforts, audit requests, and ad hoc projects
- 2–5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including invoice processing and collections support
- Strong experience working in ERP systems;
Net Suite experience is highly preferred - Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in data-heavy environments
- Experience supporting EDI transactions and resolving related errors is a strong plus
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage high volume and shifting priorities
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with external customers and partners
