Role DescriptionAudi Technicians at Audi Richfield perform full-time, on-site diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on Audi vehicles in MN. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, performing scheduled services, completing mechanical and electrical repairs, and ensuring all work meets Audi factory standards. Technicians use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify issues, document findings, and communicate recommended repairs to service advisors. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all safety and compliance procedures, and participating in ongoing training to stay current with Audi technologies.
Technicians collaborate with other team members to provide efficient, high-quality service and support a positive customer experience.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with European or luxury brands.
- Formal technical training or certification in automotive technology (trade school, ASE certifications, or manufacturer training strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, service software, and technical manuals for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow repair procedures, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication skills for working with service advisors and team members, and for documenting repairs clearly.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a shop environment.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing Audi training and certifications to advance technical expertise and career growth.
