Requirements:
Must be highly qualified, providing supporting documentation, having 1 of the 3 listed below:
- 1. Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education (

). - 2. have an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education (

). - 3. Obtained a passing score on the MN approved assessment Para Pro or Para Educator exam, both measuring math and reading skills (
Certification
).
Compensation:
Substitutes are paid at step 1 of the classification they sub for.
