Position: Application/Technical Analyst

Description

The Application/Technical Analyst is responsible for application development, testing, and hands‑on support of enterprise systems. In this role, the analyst provides the technical expertise required to ensure system stability and maintain operational continuity. Acting as a support and backup to the Senior Technical Analyst/SQL Developer, this position maintains working knowledge of SQL development, system integrations, reporting, application analysis, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

Location: Lifeworks Services – Richfield/Hybrid

Compensation: $81,500 - $91,500

  • SQL / Data skills (required): Working knowledge of T‑SQL (stored procedures and query development), SQL fundamentals, and basic performance tuning; understanding of ETL and data integration processes; experience with source control.
  • Integration experience (preferred): Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, SSIS, or comparable technologies; experience with Azure Integration Services is a plus.
  • Azure (preferred): Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ‑900 or equivalent) is a plus; experience with Azure SQL is desirable.
  • Development exposure (preferred): Working proficiency in .NET/ASP, JavaScript, XML/HTML, and/or Python, with the ability to read and analyze existing code and system documentation.
  • Reporting/Analytics (preferred): Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau; advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Enterprise application experience (preferred): Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM systems, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Security & compliance: Understanding of application security best practices, identity and access management (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ), and data privacy standards; HIPAA experience preferred.
  • Work style: Ability to work independently while also fostering strong, collaborative, cross‑functional partnerships.
  • Pre‑employment requirements: Must pass a DHS background study and drug test, and maintain reliable transportation for work‑related travel, if required.
