Job Responsibilities
- Perform functional, design, UI, accessibility, cross‑platform, and regression testing
- Validate business and functional requirements against application behavior
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
- Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA
- Perform API and integration testing across systems
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand‑ups
- Validate and troubleshoot production and testing issues
- Communicate defects clearly with detailed reproduction steps
- Provide testing estimates for projects and sprint work
$45.00 - $52.00/hr.
Required Skills- 5‑7+ years of hands‑on QA experience
- Strong experience in mobile testing (iOS and Android)
- Strong experience in integration testing (APIs, system flows)
- Hands‑on experience with Charles Proxy / Fiddler
- Experience with cross‑platform mobile apps (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Xcode and Android Studio
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to test automation tools (Appium / Selenium / Detox - preferred)
- Strong defect tracking and reporting experience (JIRA)
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), beacon, or geo‑fencing testing
- Experience in API validation testing (e.g., Postman)
- Experience in network traffic monitoring and debugging tools
- Exposure to device/hardware‑based testing environments
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
- Ability to work in fast‑paced Agile environments and manage priorities effectively
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
