Hours and Pay- $27.25-28/hourly (starting salary based on experience; may vary by skills and qualifications)
- Full time, in person
- Monday through Friday, 8–5 p.m.
- No weekend or on‑call duties

As a Maintenance Engineer you will coordinate a variety of services to assure buildings, grounds, and properties are always well maintained and in good repair. You will maintain the condition of the properties with regards to all aspects of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting work. You will personally complete maintenance and remodeling tasks and, with support from the maintenance supervisor, arrange for outside contractors as needed.
The role requires effective time management to meet tight deadlines and multiple demands. This is an unlimited driving position; mileage will be paid per federal reimbursement standard. The position may involve working 2–4 sites per day.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years of building maintenance experience, including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair
- Ability to evaluate cost‑effectiveness and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Strong decision‑making and communication skills
- Responsible, mature, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working with individuals living in group homes with various disabilities
- High school diploma required
- Relevant certifications in maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related areas
- Experience with drywall repair
- Finish carpentry skills
- Full time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime may be necessary on occasion
- Schedule must be flexible to accommodate special needs and projects
- If schedule adjustments are necessary, arrangements should be made with the maintenance supervisor
