QA Analyst III – Web and Mobile application

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced quality assurance engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of our mobile apps on both iOS and Android, as well as our web components.

We are seeking a detail-oriented quality assurance engineer to develop and execute test plans for our mobile app and website features. You will work closely with product and engineering partners to refine product requirements, contribute to accessibility testing, and provide valuable feedback on usability. Your role will be pivotal in our release cycle, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

• Conduct manual tests for React Native iOS/Android applications and web platforms
• Develop and execute detailed test cases to ensure high-quality applications
• Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand features and ensure adequate coverage
• Communicate findings effectively with developers and other stakeholders
• Utilize modern tools like Jira, Slack, and Git Hub for defect tracking and team collaboration
• Stay updated with new testing tools and industry best practices

Required Skills:

• Manual testing of mobile and web applications – 20%
• Experience with network proxy tools like Charles – 20%
• API testing using tools like Postman – 20%
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills for clear bug documentation – 20%

Preferred

Skills:

• Cypress testing – 10%
• Experience with Detox for mobile app testing – 5%
• Experience testing over-the-air updates to React Native applications – 5%

• 30-minute screening with the hiring manager
• 45-60 minute interview with team engineers
