Senior Back End Developer - AdTech

Job Summary

Our client, a leading retail & consumer goods provider, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer - AdTech to join their team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Backend Developer will build and enhance seller-facing campaign management workflows.

• Build and enhance seller‑facing campaign management workflows
• Integrate with external advertising platforms such as Criteo and ad‑serving systems
• Implement reporting, spend tracking, and billing event pipelines
• Improve campaign synchronization and product eligibility systems
• Modernize frontend and backend architecture for scalability and maintainability

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot/Web Flux expertise
• Experience with microservices and REST API development
• Strong understanding of Kafka and event‑driven architecture
• Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and async processing
• Strong SQL and Postgre
  
  SQL/MySQL performance optimization skills
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud‑native applications

• Ownership of system reliability
• Seamless collaboration with partners
• Proactive continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $130,000 and $145,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
