Back End Developer

Payrate: $65.00 - $65.00/hr.

We are part of the Ads organization, focusing on building and managing the MyAds platform. This platform is used by sellers and internal teams to create, manage, and monitor advertising campaigns across our digital ecosystem. Our department specializes in retail media and advertising technology, including Sponsored Products and onsite display advertising. We manage systems that support campaign management, bidding, reporting, spend tracking, billing integrations, and seller-facing user experiences.

• Build and enhance seller-facing campaign management workflows.
• Integrate with external advertising platforms such as Criteo and ad-serving systems.
• Implement reporting, spend tracking, and billing event pipelines.
• Improve campaign synchronization and product eligibility systems.
• Modernize frontend and backend architecture for scalability and maintainability.

• 7-10 years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot/Web Flux.
• Experience with microservices and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and async processing.
• Strong SQL and Postgre
  
  SQL/MySQL performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native applications.
• Production support, monitoring, and observability experience.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently own features/services end-to-end.
• Good cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with scalable and high-throughput systems.

• AdTech experience.
• Experience with Big Query/GCP.
• Knowledge of reactive programming.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $65.00 - $65.00/hour
. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
