The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, and SQL/No
SQL databases. This role works within an Agile environment and contributes throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, code quality improvements, and production deployments. The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering best practices, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and support event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Build and maintain applications utilizing SQL and No
SQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB. - Follow Agile development principles, practices, and team ceremonies.
- Review business requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to and create technical designs for assigned features and enhancements.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
- Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Participate in pair programming sessions and collaborative development activities.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges through innovative problem-solving approaches.
- Continuously improve code quality and application performance before production deployments.
- Deliver high-quality, error-free product features and enhancements.
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation activities.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
- Share technical knowledge and mentor team members as needed.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development methodologies.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering and application development.
- 5+ years of experience working with JVM‑based programming languages such as Java.
- 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience with Java.
- 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience with Spring Boot.
- 3–4+ years of experience working with Kafka.
- 3–4+ years of experience working with AWS services.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL and No
SQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Willingness to participate in pair programming activities.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Open Stack, or similar technologies.
- Experience with open‑source technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, and Memcached.
- Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Linux and macOS environments.
- Experience contributing to technical architecture and solution design discussions.
- Experience working in highly collaborative Agile teams.
