• Training Pay: $23.00/hr + Full Benefits
• Post-Certification Pay:
  • $27.00/hr (SPED routes)
  • $28.00/hr (Reg Ed routes)

, designed to support you in earning your Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

As a School Bus Driver Trainee
, you’ll be paid while learning the skills needed to safely transport students and build a long-term career with our team.

• Complete ELDT program requirements (classroom + behind-the-wheel training)
• Learn safety procedures, DOT compliance, and student transportation best practices
• Work closely with certified trainers and mentors

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Maintain on-time route performance
• Interact professionally with students, parents, and school staff
• Maintain accurate records and a clean, well‑maintained vehicle

• Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL permit with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (we will help you get there!)
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check (MN DOT/FMCSA compliant)
• Clean driving record

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
