Hotel Management, Hotel/Hospitality Sales
The Comfort Inn Richfield is looking for a General Manager who knows how to lead a hotel, grow revenue, build a strong team, and take ownership of performance. This position pays $64,000 to $72,000 annually based on experience and background and includes employee hotel travel rates and up to 2 weeks of vacation annually. The hotel came under new ownership in July 2025 and is managed by Structure Hospitality, a Utah hotel management company.
The property has strong ownership, continued investment, and a management team focused on helping the hotel perform at a higher level. We are looking for someone who wants to lead the business, not simply maintain the operation. Revenue and sales are major priorities for this position. The General Manager will work closely with Structure Hospitality’s revenue management and sales teams to increase occupancy, strengthen ADR, pursue local accounts, develop community relationships, capture group business, and improve market performance.
This role also leads the entire day to day hotel operation. You will be responsible for building and motivating the team, maintaining guest service and cleanliness standards, managing labor and expenses, protecting the physical asset, and delivering strong financial results. We want a leader who brings energy into the hotel, sets expectations, follows through, and holds the team accountable. You should be comfortable getting involved in sales, reviewing STR and operating results, meeting with local businesses, working with revenue management, and finding opportunities to grow the hotel.
Responsibilities:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the hotel. This includes revenue growth, sales execution, guest satisfaction, team leadership, labor management, expense control, property condition, brand compliance, and financial performance. You will lead, train, and develop the hotel team while creating clear expectations and accountability. You will work closely with department leaders and hotel staff to maintain service, cleanliness, and operating standards.
You will actively participate in sales efforts by building relationships with local companies, organizations, contractors, groups, and other demand generators in the Richfield and Sevier County market. You will review daily and weekly hotel performance, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor, expenses, guest feedback, and competitive market results. You will work directly with Structure Hospitality’s revenue management and sales teams to adjust strategy and improve performance.
You will manage staffing levels, scheduling, payroll, purchasing, accounts receivable follow up, operating expenses, maintenance priorities, and other areas affecting profitability. You will also maintain Choice Hotels brand standards, complete required training and inspections, address guest concerns, and ensure the hotel stays prepared for brand and quality evaluations.
Qualifications:
Hotel management experience is preferred, with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar leadership experience will be considered. You should have a track record of leading teams, improving hotel performance, managing labor and expenses, and taking responsibility for results. Strong sales ability is important. We want someone who is comfortable meeting local businesses, pursuing accounts, following up on opportunities, and working with the sales and revenue teams to grow revenue.
You should understand hotel financials and operating reports and be comfortable reviewing occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor, expenses, budgets, and profit performance. Choice Hotels experience is preferred but not required. We want someone who communicates well, follows through, solves problems…
