LANDFILL OPERATOR I
General InformationPerforms skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the county landfill using heavy equipment and vehicles; responds to requests and concerns from the public; monitors loads and reclaimed areas to meet state and federal permits.
Wage will be determined in accordance with the Sevier County Career Advancement System, with consideration given for experience and/or education pertaining to the position.
Minimum RequirementsGraduation from high school or equivalent and some experience in operating medium to heavy equipment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must possess a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
