DailyResponsibilities
- Oversee 20–25 daily technical client interactions via phone, email, and virtual meetings, serving as the main technical consultant to diagnose field challenges and specify optimal equipment.
- Implement thermodynamics, fluid handling, or structural concepts to create custom, eco-friendly product packages for various industrial settings.
- Utilize automated engineering software to quickly generate highly accurate commercial quotes, technical proposals, and rapid ROI calculations.
- Analyze customer-provided blueprints and data to offer value-engineered design alternatives to the internal sales team.
- Collaborate directly with production and manufacturing teams to ensure customized quotes align with plant capabilities and current lead times.
- Present technical specifications and regulatory compliance details to client engineering executives to advance the sales cycle.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related four-year engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of solid mechanical engineering or heavy industrial manufacturing experience, demonstrating deep technical aptitude.
- 2+ years of direct experience in technical sales, inside sales, or applications engineering, with a proven track record in high-volume customer consultations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex engineering formulas into clear, value-driven business proposals.
- Reliable, progressive employment history showing multi-year tenures, strong attendance, and commitment to past employers.
- Strong Plus:
Exposure to industrial heat transfer equipment, combustion systems, commercial HVAC networks, or fluid dynamics. - Proximity to the facility, residing within a dependable 45-minute daily commute of the Greater Richfield / Germantown / Washington County corridor.
