What You Will Be Doing- Leading, scheduling, and providing daily floor direction for the paint and surface preparation team to meet daily production quotas
- Operating industrial paint spray guns to apply high-quality primers and finish coatings to metal products inside a dedicated spray booth
- Utilizing a variety of pneumatic air tools and sanding equipment to prepare raw metal surfaces for optimal paint adhesion
- Utilizing a physical measurement tape continuously throughout the shift to verify product dimensions and ensure coating specifications are met exactly
- Training, mentoring, and onboarding newer spray painters and prep technicians on proper shop safety and gun techniques
- Conducting rigorous visual quality control checks on finished pieces to guarantee a uniform, defect-free coating before final assembly
- Maintaining spray booths, regulators, lines, and mixing equipment to strict operational and safety standards
- Proven Leadership: 2 to 5 years of verifiable experience in a supervisory, team lead, or foreman role within a manufacturing or industrial shop setting.
- Finishing Pedigree:
At least 1 year of direct, hands-on experience operating industrial paint spray guns and utilizing pneumatic air tools. - Precision Measurement:
Flawless ability to read and interpret a standard measurement tape quickly and accurately down to fractional levels. - Strong Work History: A stable professional background, ideally showing dedication with past employers for three or more consecutive years.
