Senior CNC Programmer

Strohwig Industries Inc in Richfield, WI is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to support large, complex machining projects for energy, aerospace, and heavy equipment customers. In this role, you will create, test, and optimize CNC programs for high-precision components, working closely with machinists, engineers, and quality to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. You'll interpret blueprints and models, select tools and cutting parameters, support setups and prove-outs, and drive continuous improvement while contributing to a safety-focused, team-oriented, craftsmanship-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Program, test, and optimize CNC machining programs for large, complex components
• Interpret blueprints, models, and customer specifications to develop machining strategies
• Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient, high-quality machining
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality to resolve machining challenges
• Perform first-piece prove-outs and refine programs for accuracy and cycle time
• Maintain program documentation, revisions, and standards for repeat jobs
• Support setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement on CNC equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and customer requirements
