Role Summary
This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus.
Responsibilities- Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment or system malfunctions.
- Contact customer representatives and ascertain equipment or system problems.
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications—including wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge, and fire pump systems.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, parts manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly while working independently.
- 3–5 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler service industry performing service and repairs to sprinkler and suppression systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs, and working in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment up to 60 ft, ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Understand and apply all safety requirements of the company and the customer.
- NICET Level II certification.
- Backflow certification.
Hourly rate: $24.50–$35.00 (depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities). The position includes a competitive benefits package.
