Southeastern Freight Lines - - Responsibilities:
Load and unload freight onto and off of equipment using proper handling techniques;
Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailer(s) before loading freight;
Weigh and dimension shipments to ensure proper classification, freight rating, and safe handling;
Review freight bills and manifests for instructions and exceptions; verify hazardous material paperwork and placarding when applicable;
Block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport
