Position: Administrative & Technical Support Specialist (Finance)

CTG is seeking to fill an Administrative & Technical Support Specialist (Finance) position for our client.

Location: Richland, WA
Duration: 12 months

Duties
  • Provide advanced administrative and technical support to Finance leadership while managing highly confidential and complex assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Serve as the primary administrative resource for Finance management by anticipating operational needs, prioritizing assignments, and resolving issues independently.
  • Prepare executive-level correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, briefing materials, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, track action items, and ensure timely completion of follow-up activities.
  • Monitor corrective action reports and action tracking systems, providing reminders, status updates, and closure support.
  • Maintain departmental dashboards, reports, and performance metrics while identifying trends and recommending process improvements.
  • Assist with department budget preparation, monitoring, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.
  • Administer procurement requests, purchase requisitions, contract documentation, change requests, and purchasing activities.
  • Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and department scheduling.
  • Manage employee training schedules, qualification records, compliance tracking, and enrollment in required learning systems.
  • Support onboarding activities, site access coordination, and administrative processing for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Maintain department records and confidential documentation in accordance with records management policies and company procedures.
  • Assist with contract administration and financial documentation processing.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to improve administrative processes, communication, and operational efficiency.
  • Support emergency response organization assignments, outage activities, and departmental readiness as required.
Skills
  • Advanced administrative and executive support capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of corrective action tracking and action management processes.
  • Knowledge of records management procedures and confidential document controls.
  • Experience preparing procurement requests, contract requisitions, and change documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to research, interpret information, and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and organizational levels.
Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of administrative or technical support experience in a professional business environment.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or executive-level management.
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement coordination, contract administration, and financial support activities preferred.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, training programs, reporting, and department operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree or additional coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Office Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $43.00 to $47.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
