Position OverviewWe are hiring a Senior Implementation Manager, Electrical to support electrical enterprise risk projects at a nuclear generating facility.
This role provides technical support, field expertise, project governance, and execution readiness support for complex electrical projects.
The Senior Implementation Manager is considered an authority and subject matter expert in their applicable field.
This position supports project managers by helping ensure project deliverables are executed safely, with quality, on schedule, within budget, and in the most effective manner possible.
The role requires deep electrical project experience, strong knowledge of current code requirements, best practices, field execution, project risk reduction, and outage execution strategies.
This position is highly focused on improving project execution, reducing project cost, improving schedules, and reducing or eliminating risks that could impact outage duration or project success.
What You Will DoProvide technical support services for electrical enterprise risk projects
Provide direct oversight and governance support when needed
Support project managers with execution planning and project readiness
Review and challenge project execution strategies to improve quality, safety, schedule, cost, and risk outcomes
Validate project readiness for successful execution
Identify opportunities to improve project schedules
Identify opportunities to reduce project costs
Identify opportunities to reduce or eliminate project risks
Support electrical projects that may impact refueling outage critical path activities
Help reduce outage duration and prevent execution risks from affecting outage timelines
Provide subject matter expertise based on field experience, best practices, and code requirements
Support business case development for strategic initiatives, projects, and investments
Lead the creation and evaluation of business cases
Develop financial models and forecasts to support business cases
Perform cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
Identify project impacts and propose practical solutions
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning
Analyze business processes and operational metrics
Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, present analysis, and obtain buy-in
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Oversee implementation of approved business cases
Monitor and report progress on initiatives
Identify and address issues, risks, and deviations from the business case
Support development of key risk indicators and performance indicators
Support business case performance reporting and trending
Perform analytics, benchmarking, and research as assigned
Contribute to business case templates, tools, processes, and continuous improvement efforts
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 20 years of experience in a technical field
OR
Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 22 years of experience in a technical field
OR
High school diploma or GED and 24 years of experience in a technical field
Advanced degree in a related field of study or business may be accepted in lieu of 2 years of experience
RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification is required
Project Management certification is required
